Media Center Programs
We offer several programs in our Media Center for parents and students throughout the school year.
Dugan Scoop
News Cast & Reporters
Our Dugan Scoop News Crew consists of several 5th grade students who report daily on the events and programs in our school.
Students also learn basic journalism and reporting skills as well as technology and editing skills.
Media Center
Helpers
5th grade students help out in the media center with re-shelving books, helping students find books, and running errands.

Special Events
Our media center hosts many special events throughout the school year such as guest speakers, author/illustrator visits, book fairs, special story times and reading programs.
Book Fair
Parent Volunteers
We always need parent helpers for our book fairs such as setting up, decorating, and packing up after the fair is over.
Information will be sent home before each fair or stop by the media center and sign up!
